OOTD: winter florals
Dress: Topshop *** Cardigan: Primark *** Shoes: Primark *** Accessories: Primark and Forever 21
I had my first day of work at Forever 21 last Wednesday. I woke up at 3am and it was 9pm when I finally made it home! Work was 9am-6.30pm but I had to travel to the city. The first day was just learning how to fold clothes "the Forever 21 way", learning the new names for things (eg. a cash register will be called the cash wrap), about the products we will be stocking, etc. I'm working every weekday next week from 6am-4pm. We get to purchase our uniforms on Thursday so i'm very much excited for that!
Sadly our employee discount is not going to change (10% off) and we have to wear head-to-toe F21 with no uniform allowance which i'm not too happy about. I love Forever 21 but I was really hoping for an extra discount for our uniform, oh well!
Our store will carry every brand (21men, kids, plus size, etc) I'm very excited to be a part of it. I can also tell you guys that the Forever 21 European website will be launching soon! Our store is opening on November 13 and the website will be launching on November 12.
I hope to get back to blogging more regularly very soon. I want to update at least once every 3 days, that's my goal anyways. Everything is very busy right now so please bare with me! It doesn't help that its dark by 4.30pm so that really limits when I can photograph my outfit. I have a few posts planned including a review of some great pieces ASOS sent me from their Curve line!

ReplyDeleteGood luck with work! Oh my gosh, I could never wake up at 3 am for a job, but it's totally understandable! Hopefully it will be just a great place to be working, come on, you get to be surrounded by fab clothes! I can't wait to see the way you style all their stuff up. :)

ReplyDeleteI love floral print so I think it's perfectly acceptable to wear it all year round! Only 10% discount? That's a bit rubbish considering they expect you to wear the clothes. I get 50%! I hope you get on well with your new job (:

ReplyDeleteI sounds very exciting your new job although if you have to wear F21 all day every day they really should give you more allowance, you'll be like a walking advertisement (they should pay you ha)

Aw you haven't been tweeting a lot so I assumed you've been busy with work! For dogs I would seriously reccommend you look into adopting one to be honest. A lot of pedigree/special breed dogs end up in care because their owners breed to many of them and can't look after them properly so the RSPCA step in! Also places like Battersea have been putting loads of healthy dogs down because noone will adopt :( xxx

ReplyDeleteI love your dress it will look great with opaques for the Autumn. Good luck with the store opening and those long working hours. Can't wait to see it you get a puppy but would definitely recommend a Jack Russell, they make great pets, I have two of them! xx

Btw, I have a Jack Russel and he's incredibly affectionate + a people-dog, but also challenging and extremely audacious/bratty when he wants to be. But I would recommend his breed if you want a dog that is going to be your best friend. <3
