♥ Cardigan: Topshop *** Top: Dunnes *** Shorts: Dunnes *** Over the knee socks: H&M
Say hello to my lazing-indoors-doing-nothing-all-day outfit! I picked up these shorts last week and this was my first time to wear them, I love them so much already. They had no size 18's left so I grabbed a pair in a size 16 and hoped for the best. God bless elastic waists!
Once again my outfit is very matched up. I love matching similar colored things together if you couldn't already tell! When I don't match my outfit it feels like a little OCD alarm goes off in my head and keeps bugging me until I fix it! Sounds rather silly but its true. I do want to change this in 2011, I want to be a little bit more adventurous with my outfits!
I made a quick trip to snag goodies for my blog giveaway. I found some lovely little things so hopefully i'll get around to photographing the goodies and making the post this weekend!
Speaking of shopping, it has been horrible keeping myself away from the sales this year! I haven't browsed any of the online sales (no ASOS, Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Zara...boo hoo!) because I know I will just spend too much money. I'm trying to keep my pennies for my SS wardrobe. It's hard to tell myself no but I just keep thinking about all of the pretty floral dresses that will hit the stores in a couple of months. Did you girls do much post-Christmas shopping?
I did take a trip to New Look a couple of days ago to buy one essential item - a winter coat! I found the most perfect coat in New Look but also bought a couple of other things - cheeky, I know. I made a haul video and finally got around to uploading it on YouTube. I'll post it below incase you guys want to take a little look. Feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel too if you like!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for a while now and I think what you post is great! I'm a plus sized girl myself (size 16-18) and have totally been in a rut with clothes and end up wearing the same things over and over again. You've shown how you can still be stylish and wear nice clothes. I'll now be saving for a whole new wardrobe for s/s!
ReplyDeleteThanks alot :)
Have a great new year x
Nice haul.
ReplyDeleteI love your voice, so cute! :P And your hair. Eeee.
I really love the print of those shorts...
ReplyDeleteOh I love this outfit :O The colours and textures look lovely against each other. I wish I looked this good on a lazy day, I've been in my pyjamas for the majority of my day! xx
ReplyDeleteNow here is a super-cute outfit! Love the shorts along with the top and cardigan. The shorts really add some flavor apart from the solid-colored top and cardigan. As for for video (I think you should make more videos because I love hearing your voice and seeing your style), the clothes you got are lovely. You look so pretty, as always! Have a happy new year! :D

You are so soft-spoken! I have New Look over here, I am glad to say. They just suddenly popped up after September 2009 when I came back from Paris and the funny thing is I was buying loads of stuff from New Look Paris because there wasn't a New Look in Singapore but the moment I got back, the store is up. I'm not complaining, I do like New Look and I can fit some of the Size 18 but I wish they also carry the New Look Inspire series.
ReplyDeleteI have your Leopard print top but with short sleeves and it's a half-top! I also bought it from New Look. I realized there are loads of leopard printed stuff these couple of months and I adore your coat! I would live in it, breathe in it but sadly, not practical in my weather here. Wanna see you wear the coat soon!
Oh you are just a adorable, you have such a sweet little voice in your video! And you look lovely as per usual ^_^ xx

ReplyDeleteYou are soo cute!
ReplyDeleteI love those shorts!
I am exactly the same about all the parts of my outfit 'going' - I'm know for my matchy-matchy tendencies!
ReplyDeleteI'd also love for it not to bother me so much, but I can't see it changing any time soon realistically!
Really enjoyed seeing your new purchases - I love to see what people pick up, particularly in the sales :)
I've got quite into leopard print recently, so definitely approve of those purchases!
