ASOS spring 2011 wishlist.

Today I was suckered back in to the world of online shopping. It was more like online window shopping, but it satisfied my craving (for now) I am not too sure of the exact date ASOS released their latest trend collection but I am in love with it! Its called "All-American Girl" and they describe the collection as "Collegiate style meets flirty ‘50s shapes". Neckerchief scarves, full skirts, pretty floral print dresses - check, check and check!

They don't give off too much of a 50s vibe as individual pieces, but some ankle socks and a knotted headscarf should fix that! I love when clothing from other decades becomes popular again, although I prefer to give it a modern twist than look like i'm living in 1950. You can view the whole collection by clicking here. It was hard for me to pick just 5 items as I would wear almost every single thing.

  3. Dolly Spot dress, yes. Maybe on the others. And nope, don't think I dig the All-American Girl trend at all! Maybe cause I don't feel "all-american" or really buy into it.

  4. Oh, I bloody love it. My fave is the shirt dress. They actually look like something you'd get in Urban Outfitters. :)

    And don't you just loveit when you see spring collections? Makes you think summer is just around the corner :) xx

  7. it reminds me a little of gossip girl style, with a twist. i really like it, the chiffon dress is very beautiful and the pencil dress is interesting - i'd love to see what shape it makes on someone who isn't model proportions.

  14. It did a post about this too..it's funny though, because we have totally different pieces that we like the most. But I'm absolutely in love with the entire collection..some pieces are on my Spring/Summer wishlist..maybe with my next paycheck. Or the one after..

  21. Yey all the way! I'm loving the soft colour pallet that we are seeing all over the S/S collections. Can't wait for it to go on sale and for the weather it be nice enough to wear light colours and fabrics.

  29. really nice picks! I wish having a large bust didn't get in the way of wearing backless numbers like the polka dot dress, because it's gorgeous. love the other two dresses as well. all so feminine.

  38. @The Merry Traveller : These are all from the "normal" ASOS section however I looked on the Curve page earlier and it seems like mostly older stock on there, so hopefully their Curve SS11 collection will be awesome. Actually, it will! ASOS Curve has been bangin' since day one! xoxo
