Top: Dunnes *** Oversized cardigan: Topshop *** Skirt: Primark *** Bag: Primark *** Accessories: Primark, ASOS & Forever 21 *** Socks: Primark *** Flats: Dunnes

Maybe I should have bought the top one size up, I can't complain too much though because I got it on sale for something silly like €3. My knee high socks were also €3 and have adorable little bows on the sides, I cheated and pushed the bows to the back - I think they look better that way. Our weather is still pretty awful so I have been wearing knee high socks a lot. Thankfully its almost spring! Its kind of silly but a huge part of why I love Spring is... Cherry Blossoms. My neighbor has a row of Cherry Blossom trees that lurk above the road outside her house, they make everything look so pretty!
After taking these pictures I realized that I needed a belt to "break up" the outfit. A photograph never lies so I added a cream belt before I left the house. I didn't include the picture of the bag I used but you can see it here, the least useful purse I own but at least it's pretty, eh?

Recently I have been feeling a little bit depressed about my hair again. I know "it could be worse" but its so frustrating to have such thin hair. I know a couple of girls who complain about their hair being too thick but I would love hair like that. Most days i'm afraid to brush my hair because I think a chunk may fall out! I have to go back for more tests related to my vitamin B12 deficiency soon. I can live with being tired a lot and having no energy (okay, its not ideal, but it doesn't ruin my confidence) but hopefully they figure out something to help my hair.

Non-fashion related but have you girls heard the new Britney Spears song "Hold It Against Me"? I just had to mention it because i'm a big Britney fan. I have had it on repeat on my iPod since it was released!

xoxo

  4. You look lovely in this outfit, I wish I could pull of knee high socks. I have heard the song, my friend is also a huge Britney fan. I am not sure what to make of it yet, I think it will be a good club song x

  9. I love your accessories!! They're gorgeous! And that dress is the sweetest thing!

Anyway; Though I know you'd probably go pfft at this, (girls;p) I think that your hair is very pretty! But I do hope that the docs would have something for your vitamin deficiency! I do take supplements for my hair/skin though; I got it from GNC; and it works! Maybe you do have an equivalent over in UK? Holland & Barret maybe?

    All the best! xx

  10. Thanks everyone <3

@ Gazel I actually said over on Facebook that I felt like a Japanese manga character! I kind of like it though :P

@ Gem I'm so excited for the video too! Britney videos are always fierce (Gimmie More doesn't count even though I love that song) Plus she always looks amazing in them!

@ Ellie I have vitamin supplements that my doctor gave me, they are kind of "all in one vitamins" but there hasn't been any improvements!
I have to go back to have my b12 levels checked again soon, I think if they are still low I may have to get the shots of B12.
My local drug store/chemist doesn't have a huge selection of medicine and most of the B12 vitamins contain gelatin (which I don't want to take) so the B12 shots may be my only hope!
Do your hair/skin supplements make your hair thicker? If so i'd love to know the name! I'm sure I could find something similar here but I get lost in the vitamin stores because they have so much stock.

    xoxo

  15. Spring has sprung, and you're the most beautiful of all flowers. You blossom with beauty with this very dainty and angelic outfit. You look outstanding to me!

I am nobody in the realm of hair advice. Let me just say that you have beautiful hair. Your hair beautifully compliments your lovely face and smile. Even with thin hair, you are still immensely beautiful. Since first following your blog, nothing has brought me greater happiness than to see your amazing styles come alive in your pictures. If ever you are depressed about anything, just know that a fellow here in the state of Texas thinks you are one of the most beautiful ladies anywhere in the world, let alone one of the most beautiful in the blogosphere. So I hope all is well with you! Cheer up and keep up your amazing work!

  23. i love the theme to your outfit, it's really cute, but in a good way? i know what you mean by thin hair, every time i'm in the hairdressers, we go through the same routine of how thin my hair is, and how they can't possibly do anything with it. it's frustrating!

  25. such a pretty, romantic outfit. the headband is adorable!

i have thin hair also, so i hear ya on the thick hair thing. my mom was blessed with thick hair.. why couldn't i have inherited it from her?! anyways, my friend is obsessed with natural remedies to aliments, and she suggest peppermint! put some peppermint oil (a tiny bit) in your shampoo/conditioner or buying already made peppermint shampoo (you can usually find this is health sections). supposedly the peppermint invigorates the scalp to sprout more hair.. and even if it doesn't work at least you'll have some pretty smelling shampoo :)

  29. Hey girl,
I was having the same problems early last year (tired, thinning hair) and they found out I had a thyroid problem. I've started taking medicine and my hair is going back to it's healthy self! I don't know if you've been tested for your thyroid already, but if you haven't maybe you want to suggest it.

I totally feel you on the thin hair thing - I'd give anything for big, bushy hair, but it's just as flat as pancake!

  33. Incredibly pretty outfit.

I have heard of women getting Vitamin B shots. It also could be a thyroid problem. Not sure if you had that test or not. Feel better!

  34. Pretty and feminine and dainty! Love that ring! I need to Googe Primark.

You would enjoy the cherry blossoms on campus at the U-Dub in Seattle. In the quad, the trees are lined up to form a "W" for Washington. Our friend proposed there.

  44. You are an Accessories Queen! The pale petal pink is just perfectly in tune with what I've been craving lately. Certainly, my desire for pink must have something to do with this ridiculously long winter I'm experiencing. Your ring and headband are fabulous!
