Something new.
I just wanted to share these beauties, they deserve a post dedicated to them! I think the pictures speak for themselves! The perfect black pump.
For as long as I can remember, I have been a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I remember being a little girl and watching their movies on repeat every day, even taping episodes of "Two Of A Kind" on my VCR (retro!) I collected everything I could related to them - books, dolls, movies but there was one thing I couldn't get my hands on - their clothing collection. It was sold exclusively at Walmart and impossible to get on this side of the world. Looking back at pictures of the clothes in that collection, many pieces look ridiculous but it was the early 00's and I was eleven years old so don't hold it against me!
Now that i'm older I am still a huge M-K&A fan, although mostly from a fashion point. Their Elizabeth and James line has so many gorgeous pieces. Most are out of my budget (€300 for a basic tank top..no thank you!) but its nice to window shop now and then. This dress and this blouse have made their way onto my wishlist! They also have a line called "The Row" which i'm not a huge fan of for personal reasons. The only thing I dislike about the Olsens is their use of animal fur, skin, etc. in their clothing and accessories.
Their younger sister Elizabeth is popping up in fashion magazines lately, i'm really excited for her upcoming movie Martha Marcy May Marlene, it looks very promising!

ReplyDeleteI'm a massive fan of MK&A too! I have all their films on DVD and loved Two of a Kind on nickelodeon ;) I remember when I went to Walmart in USA and stocked up on their clothes like crazy haha. Those shoes are real beauties though. Gorgeous xxx

I was a huge Olsen fan, did the exact same thing and collected everything obsessively, I managed to get my hands on a few of the clothes (they sold some in Asda)they were all pretty hideous but I adored them! Oh and I'm incredibly jealous of your shoes :) xx
