♥ Blouse: New Look *** Skirt: Primark *** Shoes: New Look ♥
I feel like my face looks a bit "off" in these pictures. Possibly because my camera picks up the color of my foundation but not the fake tan on my body...thanks, camera! Plus I had just woken up from a nap so that's my excuse. As much as I love winter, I really hate that it gets so dark in the evenings now. I took these pictures around 4pm but it was so dark and gloomy which meant I had to bump my ISO up far too high and use photoshop to try and brighten them a little. It makes close-up pictures especially difficult because my hand always shakes and end up with blurry pictures! I could just start using my flash but I really don't like how it washes everything out, i'm definitely a fan of natural lighting! I think I will have to start taking OOTD photos in the early morning again.
Most of my outfit today is from New Look. I love that their size 18 blouses fit me (size 20 in Primark won't even go over my chest!) Snapped this blouse up as soon as I spotted it in store, its very similar to one I purchased there at the end of summer but the color is more fitting for A/W. I didn't want to distract from the pretty lace detailing so I kept it simple (and accessory-free) and teamed it with a plain cotton bodycon skirt from Primark. The shoes are from New Look too, they're so comfortable despite the massive heels. I am waiting for them to make them in a nice light nude shade!
Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend

I just wanted to share these beauties, they deserve a post dedicated to them! I think the pictures speak for themselves! The perfect black pump.
For as long as I can remember, I have been a huge fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. I remember being a little girl and watching their movies on repeat every day, even taping episodes of "Two Of A Kind" on my VCR (retro!) I collected everything I could related to them - books, dolls, movies but there was one thing I couldn't get my hands on - their clothing collection. It was sold exclusively at Walmart and impossible to get on this side of the world. Looking back at pictures of the clothes in that collection, many pieces look ridiculous but it was the early 00's and I was eleven years old so don't hold it against me!
Now that i'm older I am still a huge M-K&A fan, although mostly from a fashion point. Their Elizabeth and James line has so many gorgeous pieces. Most are out of my budget (€300 for a basic tank top..no thank you!) but its nice to window shop now and then. This dress and this blouse have made their way onto my wishlist! They also have a line called "The Row" which i'm not a huge fan of for personal reasons. The only thing I dislike about the Olsens is their use of animal fur, skin, etc. in their clothing and accessories.
Their younger sister Elizabeth is popping up in fashion magazines lately, i'm really excited for her upcoming movie Martha Marcy May Marlene, it looks very promising!
Have a great weekend everyone.

♥ Blazer: River Island *** Playsuit: River Island *** Ring: Primark *** Shoes: Primark ♥
A little change from the cream and nude color palettes from my last few outfit posts! I'm not a huge lover of playsuits, I have a belly and they aren't the most flattering thing on my shape (apple!) However, I fell in love with this one when I spotted it in River Island and I wasn't going to let my belly get in the way of me owning it! I had purchased the blazer a few weeks beforehand (also from River Island) and although I love it, i'm having a hard time matching it with outfits. I really like how it looks with the playsuit though.
If I could, I would spend all of my money in River Island. Its definitely my favourite store. Although some of the things aren't my taste (eg. the items covered in gems/sequins) I can always find at least ten things I want from there! I just wish their online store would ship here because I rarely get to shop in their store and the selection on ASOS is rather limited. Hopefully one day!
I just wanted to apologize for being such a bad blogger during the last month or two. Blogging is only a hobby for me, but I still feel awful when I don't update often! I'm going to start posting more regularly again and hopefully bring back posts like weekend wishlist, etsy pretties, etc. as I miss doing those posts!
I created a new tumblr blog yesterday. I spent most of the evening working on the theme, i'm quite happy with how it turned out! I'm even thinking about changing the layout on here to something similar. If anyone would like to follow me on tumblr you can view my page here, I will follow everyone back. My tumblr will probably just consist of photographs and quotes that I like, and maybe the occasional personal post. I made a couple of free themes here too. Enjoy!
Lastly, my blog reached over 2700 followers recently. Just...wow. I am extremely grateful to everyone who follows my blog, it has grown more than I ever could have dreamed of and I consider each of you very dear friends rather than "followers". I am planning a giveaway for when I reach 3000 followers. I was going to have one for reaching 2700, but I think it will be better to just wait and have a big one! Again, thank you ♥
